What Are ThermiSmooth® Treatments and How Are They Performed?
ThermiSmooth® is a non-invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to tighten the skin on the face, targeting problem areas such as the eyes, mouth, cheeks and neck. It is a great solution for diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles around the eyes, or restoring tightness to the skin.
During a ThermiSmooth® treatment, a gel is applied to the area being treated. Then, the Thermi® handpiece is used to deliver the gentle radiofrequency energy to the targeted area. This causes a warming sensation that is closely monitored to ensure safety and comfort. This procedure is typically performed in less than half an hour.
ThermiSmooth® Recovery and Healing
There is no downtime required after a ThermiSmooth® treatment, and patients can return to their normal activities immediately. This gentle procedure can leave patients with minor swelling for a few days, but there is little risk to the treatment. Results begin to appear approximately one month after treatment and continue improving over the following months, with most of the results visible in about three months. Patients typically schedule multiple treatments to achieve their desired results, with 3-6 treatments providing optimal results.
