Lip Augmentation

As we age, the lips thin with tiny vertical lines appearing, and the graceful cupid’s bow of the upper lip flattens out as well, losing both volume and definition.  One of the techniques to enhance the lips is to use a hyaluronic acid injectable filler such as Juvederm, or Restylane to define the lips edges, restore volume and provide a lessening of the appearance of fine line wrinkles around the lip edges.  Used also in conjunction with Botox, these fillers can last up to a year or more in some women and can balance other facial features to restore a softer appearance.
