Meet Mr. Couper

S. Gregg Couper, P.A. - C.W.S. - M.P.A.S.

Mr. Couper, a native of Boston, Massachusetts, is a certified physician assistant and wound care specialist. He joined Parkcrest Plastic Surgery in 1996 after 19 years with the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Mr. Couper holds bachelor’s degrees in marine biology and medical technology from Northeastern University in Boston. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Medical Science degree from St. Louis University and is a graduate of the St. Louis University Physician Assistant Program.He holds a Master's of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska.

Mr. Couper has special interests in both acute and chronic wound healing problems and has been involved in numerous research studies regarding wound healing. He has extensive experience in the management of acute and chronic wounds as well as extensive experience in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Mr. Couper has served as a clinical instructor and has had a clinical faculty appointment with St. Louis University School of Allied Health Education since 1980. Mr. Couper is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Wound Management, and a Fellow in the College of Certified Wound Specialists.
